Understand what keeps players returning, and what happens at the exact moment of churn
Simulate long-term play to see how experienced players react to later gameplay
Observe players shifting from newcomer to veteran and how their experience changes
Sometimes called diary studies, longitudinal playtests allow you observe player activity across multiple days.
Identify and understand barriers to retention on Day 3, 5 or 7 and find key causes for churn.
These studies are very effective when you already have retention or benchmark data. A longitudinal study allows you to zoom in on the point of dropoff and find out what's making causing players to churn.
Pick your target players from our panel of more than 1.5 million, using standard demographics like age, gender, location—and advanced criteria including gaming preferences, interests and devices. You can even request players who have already played your game (or your competitor’s!), or who have playtested an earlier build.
Select the length of each playtest session, and how many sessions or days they'll need to play. You can also set the length between sessions, and customize your surveys for each session of play.
No need to manually send multiple surveys and compile separate data points. No reminding players to start playing and checking to see if they've started. And no calculating and distributing rewards. We do it all so you can focus on your research.
