Our platform makes games research faster. Our expert researchers take you further. Learn more about our custom research services.

PlaytestCloud has industry-recognized games researchers on staff: people who've shipped research on some of the biggest titles in the world and spent their careers understanding how players think, feel, and behave.
That expertise doesn't just inform our services. It shapes the platform itself: the methods we support, the way results are structured, what our AI surfaces, and how we help studios ask better questions in the first place.

Director of Research
Ugo has worked on 100+ game titles across PC, console, and mobile — from global AAA publishers like EA, SEGA, Ubisoft, Sony, Gameloft, and Zynga to beloved names like LEGO, Disney, Apple, and Netflix.
He's trained researchers and non-researchers alike in running better studies and turning player insights into decisions that actually move the needle in game development.
And here's something worth knowing: Ugo was a PlaytestCloud customer long before he was on our team.

Senior Researcher & Accessibility Lead
Joe works at the intersection of research, usability, and inclusion — helping studios understand how different players actually experience their games, and building the feedback loops that make those games better.
His work has been recognized in both academic and industry spaces, including Best Paper Awards at the Foundation of Digital Games Conference (2020) and Best Academic Research in Accessibility from Can I Play That (2023).
Joe is also a member of the disability and neurodivergent community. He doesn't just study accessibility — he lives it. That perspective shapes everything he does, and it's exactly why studios trust him to find the barriers they've been missing.
PlaytestCloud's research team has worked with studios at every stage, every size, and every platform. Whether you need someone to run a complex study, sharpen your research practice, or help you build accessibility into your process, we've got experts in-house!
