How much does AI analysis cost?
PlaytestCloud's AI analysis is included at no charge in all plans on all playtests, and does not cost additional Video Tokens to use.
How does AI analysis work?
PlaytestCloud's AI analysis analyzes playtest video transcripts and survey responses to generate annotations, summaries and the playtest report: your "First Findings" designed to highlight where you might uncover crucial insights. We use AI to highlight moments where the player makes comments related to five categories: Usability, Game design, Enjoyment, Monetization and Frustration. After that, this feature summarizes all observations to sum up the experience each player had during your playtest. We then convert these results into annotations and summaries and present them along with your playtest videos.
What playtest data is used to generate the AI analysis?
The AI-Powered Analysis is based on the transcripts of the playtest videos and the survey responses from players (when PlaytestCloud's survey tool is used). We also share the game name that was added while creating the playtest with the AI to give context on the playtest. No other information regarding the player, game studio, or game is shared with the AI, and no personal data is shared alongside the transcript and survey responses§.
We currently use OpenAI API and have not opted-in for playtest data to be used for training (OpenAI's data usage policy). No personal data of players or our customers is shared with OpenAI.
As the field of AI is rapidly developing, we are constantly evaluating new AI systems to improve AI-Powered Analysis. If we switch to another solution, we will ensure that similar guarantees on data use are in place.
What if I disagree with the AI analysis?
All annotations are able to be edited and customized by your team, so you are never stuck with something that doesn't sound right. To make sure your insights are correct, all AI generated summaries and observations are individually linked to clips from each playtest that support the analysis.
