Our panel is among the most highly compensated in the industry, and are paid equally no matter where they are in the world. They receive payment whether or not they like the game, and even if a technical issue renders their test unusable.

What is the PlaytestCloud player panel?
The player panel is our curated pool of real gamers across skill levels, ages, interests, and gaming platforms who participate in playtests and provide feedback for your game. They represent the real target market of the end users who will play your game.
How are the players selected for the panel?
The players on our panel are everyday gamers (not professional testers or researchers). Their preferences range from casual to hardcore, across genres (from cozy games to FPS) and platforms (mobile, PC, browser, Steam). They complete a qualification test to show they're up to the challenge, and that they're able to give feedback you can use.
How does targeting work? Can I choose my specific player profiles?
With basic targeting, you'll specify basic demographics like location, age, gender and gaming interests, and we'll automatically recruit panelists that fit for your playtest. This gives you more realistic feedback from your ideal target audience. Custom targeting goes deeper for even more niche audience targeting. Learn more about player targeting here.
You can also add another recruitment layer to find even more specific players with a custom screener. Our research operations team will work with you to get the exact right players for your playtest.
What if the players don't like the game?
Don't worry, they'll tell you! Panelists are paid regardless of their opinion or if something goes awry. This ensures honest feedback and protects your investment in playtesting. You can even add surveys to see if players would have churned (or paid to keep playing).
